Volunteers in Mission
The Volunteers in Mission team (VIM) provides a week of service to local and out-of-state projects on an annual basis.
Since 2000 our VIM Team has spent one week each
summer serving the Bennett Center in London, Kentucky, the Robeson County Church and Community Center in Lumberton, NC.,
and most recently in Oak Hill, WV. In each of these
locations, our workers have built wheelchair ramps, performed exterior house repairs including roof and front porch repairs,
installed a new kitchen, provided interior framing for a new community center, and designed and painted a mural for a child care room within
a new community center. In 2012, the team will
return to West Virginia for another week of helping
others in need during July. For more info, contact
the church office.
